Today

Today, was a normal day. I got driven on campus. Then I walked to my vocal lessons. then I walked back to campus. And now I'm here. Sitting. Thinking. Planning. Hoping. Creating. I must work. Work. Work. Work. To my bones can take no more. And I am so serious. I am so darn serious about making this work. Making this happen. There's so much to do. So little time. So many people, but so few minds that believe in me. And I want to change ALL of that. And I AM going to change all of that. I was sent with divine purpose. Last breathe almost snatched away but I was kept alive and restored. This is YOUR life. Stay busy. Stay focused. Strive for the better. The best. And dream. Dream so muthafucking big. The sky is not my limit. There are far too many galaxies. Till then.

Get Ready

Maybe my method of keep your mouth shut and there will be no problems isn't the best route to go. I'm steadily thinking. I'm really trying to do this big. And I will. But...(always a but) it IS NOT THAT SIMPLE. And I try to get that through certain individuals that believe they have the answer to every known problem known to man minds. Yes your approach works for YOU because you have the resources. But if I keep telling you what I'm working with and you keep giving me the same answer then obviously...well just shut up. The thing is it is simple. But... (another but) like I said without resources, the chances are slim. But I will not stop until I reach my destination. And the journey, well I'm not sure what the journey will bring but I'm ready. I just have to have the faith. Keep the faith. I know God wouldn't lead in a path that I should not go. And these doors and dreams and outlets and occurrences keep pointing in this direction. I've got a voice for a reason. So I've got to use it. And I've got to work. I guess I'm the underdog and I will prove them all wrong. Get ready. Cause once I start...I will NEVER stop.

BEST Night of my Life

So my team (poetry) slammed at BNV (Brave New Voices) in Chicago this past July. Basically it changed my life. This one night in particular fueled that changed. It was supercallifragillisticexpeallidocious. Haha. Basically some people wanted to cypher. I wanted to sing. So I sang and it grew into this huge party. I'm pretty sure someone has the full but this is the beginning. Enjoy or something like that. Thanks Azania! :)
